Incoming!

This is a bit late coming to the site, but on Sunday President Bush was giving a press conference in Baghdad, and had to dodge two shoes thrown at him by a Iraqi television producer, Muntazer al-Zaidi. At first, all I could think of, was "hell yes, good work, you crazy motherfucker," but now, it's a sad realization that al-Zaidi's going to be rotting, beaten, in some prison cell. Apparently, he's even too beaten to appear in court, with injuries to his arm, leg, and ribs.

al-Zaidi faces seven to 15 years in prison under a section of the Iraqi penal code that has sanctions for "agression against a president."

I'd say it was worth it, calling perhaps one of the most hated men in the world a "dog."
