So can anyone explain to me why I love this album so much? Pendulum's new In Silico's one of the few albums that I can listen to from start to finish and be satisfied all the way through.
Pendulum's earlier Hold Your Colour was on my iPod for a good long while because their blaring Drum 'n Bass gave me an occasional adrenaline shot. However, there's a bit of style change with In Silico; Pendulum, in a nutshell, is really, really, fast electronica, but with this new album they've introduced a lot of rock elements, as well.
I don't usually pick up new music, but Silico's one of those albums I have a genuinely good feeling about; if you've got some time and need somethign to lift up your mood, give it a look. At least check out "Propane Dreams" below.
Also, Happy Holidays, all.

So, I listened to the song you linked at the bottom of your post and I was surprisingly intrigued by it. Usually I have to be in a dance party mood to really enjoy that style of music. But! I found myself grooving a little. I think it's the ghostly organ sound of the synths (or whatever the heck they are jammin' on) and the overpowering drums.
You know, I try to keep updated and compile useless music knowledge and such so I did some reading about Pendulum. They did this cover of Violet Hill by Cold Play for a BBC Radio session... I'm not sure if you knew that already or even like Cold Play, but I enjoyed it.
